2. 52-2004-MC48. Informal A. Letter of Warning alleging that the vehicle was left unlocked overnight (no mail in vehicle inside a locked fenced in area) is reduced to six months in OPF.

4. 52-2004-MC42. Informal A. Management and the Union will work together to find Light Duty work for the Grievant instead of sending the Grievant home without pay.

5. 52-2005-MC1. Informal A. Management will cease and desist failing to post the new leave year, the vacation calendar (and will complete the calendar timely), and will use 3971's for approved vacation leave.

6. 52-2004-MC43. Informal A. Management will post the equitable overtime log weekly and will meet with the Shop Steward two thirds of the way through the quarter to insure equitable overtime for the calendar quarter.

10. 52-2005-MC4. Informal A. Letter of Warning alleging a failure to curtail mail to get back by 4:30pm is reduced to a discussion.

11. 52-05-SMS2. Formal A. Letter of Warning alleging a failure to deliver express mail by noon is reduced to a discussion.

12. 52-2005-MC7. Informal A. Management will provide a copy of any submitted CA-1 or CA-2 to the Grievant.

13. 52-05-KL8. Informal A. REMOVAL alleging improper conduct (alleged argument with a business customer) is hereby reduced to a 14 DAY SUSPENSION. Grievant will become an unassigned regular. Management cannot cite this discipline as a prior element unless that discipline is for a similar offense.

14. 52-05-KL8. Informal A. EMERGENCY PLACEMENT alleging improper conduct (alleged argument with a business customer) is settled with no back-pay for the four days of missed work.

15. 52-2005-MC13. Step B. 7 DAY SUSPENSION alleging that the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition, the back door open and the side door open in the postal parking lot is reduced to a Letter of Warning and further reduced to nine months in OPF.

16. 52-2005-MC5. Informal A. 7 DAY SUSPENSION alleging that the Grievant left outgoing mail in the Post Office over night is hereby reduced to a Letter of Warning and further reduced from two years to one year in OPF.

17. 52-05-SMS8. Formal A. Letter of Warning for casing sequenced mail is hereby reduced to a discussion.

22. 52-05-SMS1. Step B. Letter of Warning for not calling back to the Post Office to inform management that you were running late on the collection (44 minutes) is reduced to 4 months in OPF.

23. 52-2005-MC12. Formal A. The purpose of the Accident Repeater Meetings is to find the root cause of the accident in an effort to avoid others from having the same or similar fate. If a question or comment deviates from the stated purpose of these Accident Repeater Meetings, the Union representative present will be allowed to object. Management agrees to stick to the stated purpose of the Accident Repeater Meetings.

24. 52-05-SM3. Formal A. Management will sign the 3971ís (leave request form) after approving/disapproving them.

25. 52-2005-MC8. Formal A. Resolved; The Grievant has the right to representation during any investigatory interview which he reasonably believes may lead to discipline.

26. 52-2005-MC6. Formal A. Management acknowledges that there are errors in the controversion letter and that the Department of Labor will approve/disapprove the injury claim. (The claim was eventually approved).

27. 52-2005-CK5. Formal A. It is agreed that there was no work within the Grievantís medical restrictions at Pike Annex and assigning the Grievant work at the Main Office within the Grievantís medical restrictions was in compliance with section 546.142 of the ELM.

28. 52-2005-MC14. Step B. 7 DAY SUSPENSION alleging a failure to use the turn signal three times during a day is reduced to 5 months in OPF.

29. 52-05-SM6. Formal A. Letter of Warning for casing sequenced mail is reduced to a discussion.

30. 52-2005-MC11. Formal A. Letter of Warning alleging an Edit Sheet Failure is reduced to 3 months in OPF.

31. 52-2005-MC2. PRE-ARBITRATION. Letter of Warning alleging deviation/unauthorized break and leaving the vehicle unlocked on the route is reduced to 6 months, two weeks and 5 days in OPF.

32. 52-05-SMS5. Informal A. Management demanded medical certification when the Grievant called in sick after a holiday. This violates our local settlements on the issue of medical evidence. Resolved; Grievant is hereby paid mileage from his home to the physician's office and back home plus $15.00 for the co-pay.

33. 52-2005-MC16. Step B. Grievant was on an Emergency Suspension. Management demanded that the Grievant attend a Workplace Improvement Analysis Meeting off the clock. Resolved; Grievant will be paid mileage from his home to the Rockville Main Post Office and back home ($17.69) and be paid from the time he left his home, the time at the meeting and the time to drive back home (2.55 hours at the straight-time rate).

34. 52-2005-MC17. Step B. Management disallowed the Grievant 9 units of overtime and annotated this on the Grievant's 1017-A. Resolved; Grievant will be paid the 9 units of overtime and the 1017-A entry will be deleted.
