INSTALLATION-WIDE CASES

 

1. IW-03-KL18. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible.

2. IW-03-KL10. Step B (Virginia team). Management discontinued a long standing past practice of carriers applying for 8 hours or less of annual leave on the top of the 3971 (leave slip). Resolved; Management must reinstate the past practice.

3. IW-03-KL11. Formal A. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible. (Note* management refused to comply with this settlement and a non-compliance grievance had to be filed).

4. IW-03-DL10. PRE-ARBITRATION. Management was hiring casuals for reasons that were not temporary in nature. Resolved; Management will pay $60,000.00 ($200.00 to each qualified carrier) and must meet with the Union prior to hiring casuals in the future (nice settlement Dominick!)

5. IW-03-KL14. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible.

6. IW-03-KL13. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible.

7. IW-03-KL12. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible.

8. IW-2003-DL75. Step B. Management designed a locally developed form letter mandating that injured employees physician's sign it. (This was meant to cause a rift between the doctor and the employee.) Resolved; Management must cease using the locally developed form.

9. IW-03-KL31 and KL32. Formal A. Management failed to comply with two prior Step B decisions, more PTF's qualified under the PTF maximization MOU and management refused to convert PTF's to regular to fill residual vacancies. Resolved; 9 PTF's will be converted to regular within 2 weeks and the senior two PTF's will be paid a lump-sum of $280.00

10. IW-03-KL19. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible. (Note* management refused to comply with this settlement and a non-compliance grievance had to be filed).

11. IW-03-KL20. Step B. The PTF cited by the union met the criteria of the Memorandum of Understanding concerning maximization/Full-time Flexible. The senior PTF will be converted to a Full-time Flexible. (Note* management refused to comply with this settlement and a non-compliance grievance had to be filed).

12. 55-2003-MC78. Formal A. Management delayed the conversion of this PTF to regular to fill a residual vacancy. Resolved; The PTF will be paid a lump-sum of $25.00. (The PTF was converted to regular.)

13. 50-2003-SL61. Formal A. Withdrawn when management agreed to convert the PTF to regular to fill the residual vacancy.

14. 50-2003-SL93. Formal A. Withdrawn when management agreed to convert the PTF to regular to fill the residual vacancy.

15. 53-2003-MS030. Formal A. Management delayed the conversion of this PTF to regular to fill a residual vacancy. Resolved; The PTF will be paid a lump-sum of $25.00. (The PTF was converted to regular.)
