1. 55-04-GA82. Formal A. 7 DAY SUSPENSION alleging outgoing express mail left in tubs is rescinded (severe due process errors.)

2. 55-04-GA81. Formal A. Letter of Warning alleging unacceptable attendance is rescinded.

3. 55-04-GA94. Formal A. Two 1017-B charges (unauthorized overtime) for 48 units and 36 units were deleted at the Formal A meeting so we agreed to withdraw the grievance. The Grievant had called back to notify management that they could not complete the assignment in the allotted time and was told to keep delivering the mail.

4. 55-04-GA86. Formal A. Management agreed that when a carrier calls back to inform management that they can't complete the assignment in the allotted time and management instructs the carrier to complete the delivery of the mail, that authorizes the overtime. When management agreed to the above, we agreed to withdraw the grievance.

5. 55-04-GA84. Formal A. The Grievant called back to inform management that she could not get back by 5:00pm. We agreed to withdraw the grievance when management agreed that they would stop insulting the Grievant by telling her to be back by 5:00pm when the sole purpose for the Grievant calling back was to inform management that she could not complete her assignment and be back by 5:00pm.

6. 55-04-GA85. Formal A. Management ordered the Grievant to stop marking where the parcels are on the route. We agreed to withdraw the grievance when management said she could go back and deliver parcels on the route that she missed in the normal sequence of the route and there would be no repercussions for this.

7. 55-04-GA89. Formal A. Management ordered the Shop Steward to remain silent during a PDI. Resolved; During a PDI, the employee has the right to a Steward's assistance, not just a silent presence. During a PDI, the Shop Steward must be allowed to speak and management must not try and restrict the Steward to the role of a passive observer. Management contended that they did not violate the above. The Shop Steward and the employee getting the PDI disagreed.

8. 55-04-GA90. Informal A. Grievant will be provided 21 equalizing overtime hours in the next quarter due to inequitable distribution of overtime.

9. 55-04-GA83. Formal A. The Grievant called back to inform management that she could not get back by 5:00pm. We agreed to withdraw the grievance when management agreed that they would stop insulting the Grievant by telling her to be back by 5:00pm when the sole purpose for the Grievant calling back was to inform management that she could not complete her assignment and be back by 5:00pm.

10. 55-04-GA95. Formal A. The 1017-B charge (unauthorized overtime) for 76 units is hereby deleted. The Grievant called back and told management that she could not complete the assignment in the allotted time and was told to complete the delivery of the mail.

11. 55-04-GA107. Formal A. Letter of Warning for taking a break and a comfort stop in an unauthorized location (in the line of travel of the route) is reduced to six months in OPF.

12. 55-04-GA100. Formal A. The Special Route Inspection on the Grievant's route will be conducted from January 8, 2005 through January 14, 2005.

13. 55-04-GA118. Formal A. Letter of Warning alleging poor attendance is reduced to six months in OPF.

14. 55-04-GA93. Step B. Letter of Warning alleging that five pieces of outgoing mail was put in the UBBM is reduced to six months in OPF.

15. 55-04-GA96. Informal A. The four 1017-B notations (unauthorized overtime) are hereby deleted. (The Grievant called back and was told to deliver the mail. That authorizes the overtime.)

16. 55-04-GA106. Informal A. Union time was delayed. Resolved; The supervisor and the Shop Steward will mutually decide when Union time will be granted.

17. 55-04-GA101. Informal A. Union time was delayed. The Shop Steward agrees to include the time limits when requesting Union time for Informal A grievances to be heard.

18. 55-04-GA94A. Informal A. Management pre-determined the amount of Union time needed. It was not nearly enough, thereby delaying Union time. Resolved; The supervisor and the Shop Steward will mutually decide when Union time will be granted.

19. 55-04-GA114. Formal A. Grievant has a mounted route. It was the past practice for 15 years to allow the usage of rubber bands when pulling the route down. Resolved; The past practice will continue.

20. 55-2004-DL61. Informal A. Management would not change the 8:30am start time which meant that the Grievant was forced to carry mail in the dark quite often. Grievance withdrawn when the Grievant bid out.

21. 55-04-GA115. Formal A. The following NON-ODL's are paid an additional 125% (double-time and 3/4 or approx. $59.00 per hour) 50 units, 1.21 hours, 71 units and 96 units. Three ODL's will be paid one hour of double-time each and one will be paid 38 units of double-time due to a violation of Article 8 (overtime rules.)

22. 55-04-GA92. Informal A. Management delayed Union time. Resolved; The Shop Steward agrees to keep the supervisor informed of the time limits on grievances to be heard at Informal A.
